SOS is dedicated to our young community members who are making their transition into adulthood. We offer safe environments where youth can connect with responsible adults, receive healthy support, eat nutritious food, make new friends and learn about community resources.
In all our youth programs, we promote skills for developing self-esteem, responsibility and problem solving.
“It has been wonderful for them to be able to develop relationships with people who are not teachers or parents. I don’t know how SOS finds the facilitators that they find but they’re amazing. It’s really that connection they have with them, they know they can talk to them about anything. That makes me feel so much better as a working parent that they have these relationships.” ~ A parent of two youth in the School Night Out and Teen Night programs.
